Now more than ever it's time for business to act with pure integrity and intention producing and creating products and services that respect not only the overall health and wellbeing of people but the environment as well. 

CATA-Consumers Against Toxic Apparel and PIV-Pure Integrity Verified Seal is committed to finding those companies and presenting them to the public through unique and outside the box methods. As visitors tour the Sustainable Wellness Home on April 23rd they will find several new textile sponsors to include: Farm Fresh Clothing Co, Eureka Hemp Clothing and Blue Fish Clothing to name a few.

As these companies display their clothing in the Wellness Home for visitors to see they will also participate in "The Solution" film documentary created by CATA Consumers Against Toxic Apparel and PIV Pure Integrity Verified.  

The film was created to bring consumers solutions to the everyday problems we face in regards to the toxic and hazardous chemicals we're being exposed to daily in our environment and especially our homes.   Toxic chemicals are being put in our food, clothes, personal care products, water and just about any product imaginable.  These chemicals serve the purpose of creating fillers, cheaping products and their production cost for big companies allowing them to gross higher corporate profit margins with no regard for human health, life or our environment.

There are hundreds of small companies around the country working with integrity and pure intentions to create healthy, sustainable products void of all the toxic and harmful chemicals.  "The Solution" film will show you who those companies are, interview experts in all industries providing answers and resources for those seeking a better lifestyle.

As many of you know CATA and Sister Partner Pure Integrity Verified have teamed up to bring you some amazing events in 2016 as we encourage you all to LIVE HAPPY. BE PURE!

  

 What are these events?

• The Sustainable Wellness Home opens to the public for monthly tours on January 23rd in Eureka Springs, AR where consumers will have the opportunity to see first hand what it means to live sustainably and how easy it is to implement much of what they see into their own homes and lifestyle.

• The LIVE HAPPY. BE PURE! Black Tie Gala scheduled to take place May 6th where keynote speakers from around the country will converge on Eureka Springs, AR for 3 days of all things natural and organic.  There will be a silent auction, entertainment, organic fashion show, an organic menu, juice bar, lots of mingling and ten special vendors.  

          The   Gala  will  take  place  at  the  beautiful Country  Club of  Holiday  Island  and  is  the 

          official kickoff to the 2-day Organic Festival.

• 2 Day Organic Festival  will take place at The Inn of The Ozarks, Best Western Convention Center in downtown Eureka Springs.  During the Festival over sixteen speakers will be sharing new developments and their expertise with those attending. There will be hundreds of vendors showcasing sustainable, organic and natural products, lots of organic food to taste, organic farmers to visit and plenty of ideas to take home.

We've joined forces to present the first LIVE HAPPY. BE PURE! Sustainable Wellness Home.  The home will open for public tours January 23rd and every month thereafter leading up to the LIVE HAPPY. BE PURE! Gala & Organic Festival.

The home is located in Eureka Springs, AR just fifty miles south of Branson, MO nestled in one of the cleanest geographical areas in the US; the Ozark Mountain Region, where rolling hills, open pastures, mountains and clean air are in abundance.

The home will be completely decorated to be sustainable, organic and natural.  The house itself was recently renovated following green home building standards. The interior design of the home will include every aspect of sustainability possible.  Everything from water filtration, organic bedding, organic clothing, cookware, china, glassware, cleaning products, EFM diffusers to organic food will be displayed and demonstrated in the home that's scheduled to open for public tours January 23rd. The home will hosts tours and events leading up to the GALA & Organic Festival scheduled to take place May 6-8 at the Inn of  The Ozarks Convention Center where the three day event will shuttle hundreds of attendees back and forth to tour the home  for show and tell

It's' time for change;  real positive change!  The health crisis numbers for chronic illness and disease is at an all time high in the US.  Michael Pollan's new film, "In Defense of Food" just released on PBS is a great example of just how severe the problem has become.  Everyday, news is being reported about the dangers associated with many products we use in our daily lives, toxic chemicals, inferior food that's making us sick and the list goes on.  Penelope Jagessar Chaffer, the creator of the documentary "Toxic Baby," explores just how toxic our society has become.  The EWG Environmental Working Group produced the film "10 Americans" exposing the crisis associated with personal care products and the need for tighter government regulations on chemicals and their use.  "True Cost" is a film documentary produced by Andrew Morgan exposing the true cost behind cheap disposable fashion while showing what goes on behind the scenes of the fashion industry which is the 2nd largest polluter on the planet. The suspenseful and informative film "Consumed" written and produced by actress  Zoe Lister-Jones and starring Danny Glover is a dramatic thriller exploring the complex world of GMO's (Genetically Modified Food).

Going back to the basics, demanding better (not more), asking questions, taking our lives and wellbeing in our own hands and supporting companies working to do the right thing is where we begin to take control of our own destinies.   This is an exciting time for humanity and a turning point is on the horizon.

If part of your New Year's Resolution is to eat healthier,  take better care of yourself, reduce your carbon footprint, support small business and be connected to the things you use, you're already on the right track to being sustainably responsible.  At the end of the day it all comes down to what are "you" willing to be responsible for.......

 Exciting news! It's official and long awaited, Consumers Against Toxic Apparel (CATA) and Sister Partner Organic Guru Lynnette Marie creator of The Pure Integrity Verified Seal and Author of Fuel for the Body will soon present the first LIVE HAPPY BE PURE Sustainable Wellness Home incorporating every aspect required to live a good, sustainable and healthy lifestyle.  So far only key elements of this notion have been addressed, marketed and written about but now we have taken each individual element and designed a home that reflects every component of living to  demonstrate just how easy it is to live a clean, healthy, organic and natural life void of many toxic chemicals and unhealthy habits.  The cottage  was renovated using LEED standards to include energy efficient appliances, hardwood floors, reclaimed glass, VOC paints, etc. and as you can see it's gorgeous!  Everything from the low flow shower head filtration system, to bedding, furniture, cleaning products, food and clothing will be showcased during our first open house January 23, 2016.
